Hi, I’m Tarun, a REALTOR®, real estate investor, and technology professional based in Calgary, Alberta.
Real estate has been a big part of my life for many years. Before becoming a REALTOR®, I spent over 8 years working as a software developer, building technology solutions for real estate companies and helping improve systems used across the industry.
While working in technology, I became fascinated with how people build long-term wealth through real estate. That curiosity eventually turned into action.
🏠 My Real Estate Journey
I started investing in real estate because I wanted to create long-term wealth and financial freedom for my family.
Over the years, I’ve personally used strategies such as BRRRR (Buy, Renovate, Rent, Refinance, Repeat), rental properties, and value-add renovations to grow my portfolio.
Today, I own and manage 5 rental doors in Calgary, giving me real-world experience that goes beyond textbooks and online videos.
I understand the challenges investors face because I’ve been through them myself — finding the right property, running renovation budgets, refinancing, dealing with tenants, and analyzing rental cash flow.
🔨 Renovation & DIY Experience
One of the biggest advantages I bring to my clients is my renovation experience.
I previously helped manage my uncle’s renovation and construction company in Calgary, where I gained hands-on knowledge of home improvements, budgeting, project management, and property value enhancement.
I also enjoy DIY projects and have personally completed many renovations on my own investment properties.
Because of this background, I often help clients identify opportunities that others may overlook, whether it’s adding a basement suite, improving a property’s layout, or increasing value through strategic renovations.
